JULIA #1 (B/W & color)
The frames for this first pair of fractal "parameter walk" animations were computed with Stone Soup Group's FRACTINT. It was driven by ANI-FRAC (my own C program), which causes input arguments to Julia set equations to drift slowly from 0 to 1. Palettes for color versions were manipulated with PICLAB (by Lee Daniel Crocker). The "flicks" were compiled by Dave's Targa Animator (DTAX), and placed into animated GIFs with the GIF Constructor Set.
JULIA #2 and #3
The frames for this second pair of fractal "parameter walk" animations were computed with Stone Soup Group's WINFRACT. It was driven by a Windows RECORDER macro, which forced the arguments to Julia set equations to walk slowly from 0.1 to 0.9. The "flicks" were assembled using Dave's Targa Animator (DTAX), and collected into multi-image GIFs with the GIF Constructor Set from Alchemy Mindworks.
